Working with a broad spectrum of presenting difficulties from 4-18 year olds in schools and with external services such as ASGSF and Social Services.
Individual Art Psychotherapy
Working with 4-18 year olds in individual therapy. Both long and short term are available dependent on presentation and time frame available.
Group Therapy
Group therapy can help children, and young people, with either similar difficulties eg bereavement, transition, LAC, social difficulties etc or for a mixed group with mixed presentations. Groups are 90mins weekly.
Dyadic Therapy
Working with a parent and child together can improve attachment, bonding and attunement. It can allow for opportunities to mirror and work on communication and emotional regulation. I also offer parenting strategies and support for improving family life
Working in Partnership with Schools
One to one reviews (with recommendations) with children's teachers, TAC meetings, SENCO review as well as whole staff training on mental health and emotional well being can be arranged.
Presentations
Having worked with a wide variety of presenting difficulties including but not exclusively; ADHD, ASD, OCD, bereavement, anxiety, depression, LAC (foster, adoption, special guardianship), anger, selective mutism, domestic violence, early trauma, learning difficulties, attachment disorders, sleep difficulties.
Experience
